The Kinderberg International e.V. offices in Stuttgart are located at the heart of the town, in the former orphanage at “Charlottenplatz”. As parking spaces are very restricted here, we recommend using public transport.
Directions by underground:
Take the underground line U1, U2, U4, U5, U6 or U7 to „Charlottenplatz“. Leave the station through the exit “Holzstraße” or follow the signs to the “Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen” (Ifa). Turn right, through the archway right next to the underground exit and enter the inner courtyard of this yellow-coloured building. Take entrance number three and you will find us on the third floor.
by train or S-Bahn (local train):
Get off at the main station “Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof”. From there, you can either take the underground to “Charlottenplatz” (see above) or go on foot as follows (approx. 10 mins.): Follow “Königstraße” (the pedestrian zone and main shopping street) heading south until you reach “Schlossplatz” (the gardens in front of the palace). Cross the gardens diagonally to your left towards the old castle. Outside the castle, turn left and you come almost immediately to a square called “Karlsplatz” with a big statue in the middle. Walk across Karlsplatz, past the statue and through the archway into the inner courtyard of the yellow -coloured building. Take entrance number three and you will find us on the third floor.
Drive into the town centre on the B14. When you reach “Charlottenplatz”, turn west onto the B27 and keep right immediately, staying at street level (do not follow the road down into the tunnel). Drive straight on towards the castle and do a u-turn at the end of the road. Then take the first right onto “Karlsplatz” (the square with the big statue). At the next crossroads, turn left onto “Dorotheenstraße” and continue until you reach the yellow -coloured building on the left. That is where you will find our offices. There are only a few parking spaces here and you can only stay for up to an hour. It is best to park in one of the nearby car parks.
